Chapter 2: 8
Fears and their Treatment (2)

The Lord on His way of healing Abraham from fear did two other things:

The Lord returns Sarah
The Lord did not punish pharaoh only but returned Sarah back to Abraham. After the Lord punished Pharaoh, he called Abraham and said to him: “Why did you say, 'She is my sister,'…..Take her and go!"

How beautiful these words were to Abraham heart and ears “Take her and go!” How wonderful it was when Abraham and Sarah embraced one more time after being away from each other.

Can the Lord return to us what the world took from us, in a time of weakness? Can the Lord return to us what Satin stole from us as a result of our weakened faith?
Yes the Lord can return what was taken or stolen from us when we humble ourselves before Him and we declare our repentance, and weakness, and our trust in Him.

"O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” (2 Chronicles 20:12)

What did you lose my dear reader?
Did Satin steel your happiness, your peace, your relationship with God? Did Satin take advantage of your weakness in faith and negligent? Did he take away your marital happiness? Did he take your wife from you? Are you on the verge of separation or divorce?

The Lord is able to return what was taken when we humble before him. Come to the Lord now, pray from your heart, and humble yourself before Him with true repentance. Declare your faith by saying: “You, who returned Sarah to Abraham, return my wife, my husband or my kids to me. Oh Lord restore to me the joy of your salvation, let me serve you again”. Pray to Him pleading: “Will not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?” (Psalm 85:6)

How wonderful Sarah’s return to Abraham’s tent. Happiness returned once more to Abraham’s tent.
Our good God; May return every lost Sarah to the believers’ homes and returns all spiritual happiness to every Christian home. So we sing with David when the Lord brought back the captives to Zion saying: “Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.” (Psalm 126:2)

The Lord blesses Abraham
The Lord never left nor rejected Abraham after his big mistake, instead He blessed him and returned him back to Bethel the place of joy and companionship, where Abraham became very rich with livestock, silver & gold. Also God fulfilled all what He promised Abraham with. He gave him Isaac and from his line came Jesus Christ. Truly Abraham lost days from his trip of faith and got exposed to humiliation from Pharaoh, but the Lord blessed him. For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole.

The Lord will return you better than you were, if you humble before Him and declare your need to Him.
Do you believe that the Lord can return to you what was taken from you?
The Lord promises to make the Valley of Achor (a place of failure and defeat) a door for hope (a place of happiness and spiritual comfort).
Can the Lord bless you so, you can bless others?

Dear reader, the Lord will bless your life, your family, your work, and will make you a blessing to those who are around you. You will be a witness to others and gain soles to Christ.

All that will not happen unless we humble before the Lord and call upon Him asking for forgiveness from our sins, and telling Him: “We lost a lot, we lost Sarah, and we lost our spiritual comfort and our happiness. We can not stand before Pharaoh, but we are coming before You repentant and humbly asking for forgiveness and believing in your promise: “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14).”
